At this stage the vehicle is assembled for a final test fit to ensure all pieces fit properly. Notice that the hood scoop has been modified from the previos photos, it was lowered and is not as prominent as before.
Sometimes choosing a color is difficult from the small color chips. In this case the colors were chosen, a small amount of paint was mixed and another hood was painted. It becomes much easier to visualize the color when one can see it on a larger piece. It was decided not to use the red stripes.
Almost ready for paint, final masking of all previously painted areas. Inside trunk, cabin, engine bay, bottom of car and wheel wells have been painted at this stage.
Waterborne basecoat with three coats of clear are applied.
