Now the door fits properly and the gaps look good.

The front fenders had one bolt at the bottom, which is normal, however on this car unless this bolt is very tight the bottom of these fenders can pivot on the bolt causing a misalignment. The factory had spot brazed the fender bottom to the rocker panel to solve this issue. We will not be tack welding the fender to the rocker to keep it from moving. Instead a mounting bracket will be welded to the body allowing a second bolt to secure the fender.

The left trunk drop panel was replaced.

Some dents on the bottom of the car were also smoothed prior to painting. The bottom was painted with a semi-gloss black and the engine bay is painted body color.

The hood, trunk lid and rear spoiler are painted, wet sanded and polished.

The body is painted, next stage is wet sanding, polishing and apply the stripes.
