The hood on this snowmobile has seen many hours of direct sunlight. Fortunately the decals are still in great shape and can be carefully masked while the rest of the hood is repainted.
Once the black basecoat is applied the decals are unmasked and the whole hood is cleared. This will help preserve the decals with the UV inhibitors that are in the clear.
