This 1968 Rover has been in the same family since new. These Rovers are quite different from North American cars, all the body panels except the roof are removable from the car. The hood "bonnet" and trunk lid "boot" are aluminum. | |||||||||
Stripping paint chemically. | |||||||||
After the panels are chemically stripped, the edges and jambs are finished with sandblasting. | |||||||||
All panels are installed to check for proper fit. During this process the gaps are corrected and all panels are aligned. | |||||||||
Much too big door gap here. Metal rod is welded to the fender to close the gap. | |||||||||
