This Mustang was purchased on eBay and imported to Canada. It spent most of its life in southern California and the last two years in Las Vegas. The body was straight and rust free which saves many hours of labour on body work.
The
first alterations were to lower the car 1.5" with Eibach springs and
convert the hubs from 4-lug to 5-lug. 18 x 9 Cobra R wheels with
245/40-18 Kumho tires fill the wheel wells nicely. New mufflers,
tailpipes, struts and rear shocks were also installed.
A
major shave job was carried out on this vehicle. Door handles, radio
antenna, fuel door, badges, trunk key and luggage rack were all removed.
Remotes were installed in the doors and trunk lid.
The "Mustang GT" embossed in the bumper and ground effects was filled smooth and then painted in with a slightly darker green.
This
color is a custom mix of House of Kolor pearls and candies. The result
is "Anti-freeze Green" which changes from lime-gold to emerald green
depending on the viewing angle. Windshield frame, cowl, beltline trim
& mirrors were all painted green to enhance the clean look. Billet
aluminum wiper delete covers replace the wipers (the wipers are in the
trunk for those unexpected rain showers). Eurostyle clear headlights and
marker lights update the front end.
