Some small filler panels were made to cover the openings in the front fenders.
All holes and openings in the firewall are filled in. New holes will be drilled as needed.
The engine bay is painted semi-gloss black.
The factory plastic inner fenders will be replaced with smooth steel fenders for a nice clean look. A mock-up sample at 1/3 size will be a guide for building the actual fenders.
The pattern for the fender is layed out on the metal.
This section of the fender is close to being finished. It was shaped using a bead roller with a radius die, a stretcher/shrinker and an english wheel.
The fender is roughed in, after some final dressing it will look great.
The second fender is finished.
